Global-MSI finalists APEA awards 2018

Global-MSI is very proud to be voted as finalists in three categories at this year’s prestigious APEA LIVE 2018. The winners will be announced at the APEA gala dinner in Milton Keynes on the 22nd of November.  As this is one of the most attended and recognised award events for the UK forecourt industry, we are very pleased to be recognised yet again by our peers for the work we have carried out over the last 12 months.

As this is the 25th anniversary of the forming of Global-MSI, it gives us great pleasure to celebrate our anniversary along with the 60th celebrations of the Association of Petroleum and Explosives Administrators. Global-MSI has been recognised for our 25 years of support to the forecourt industry and we are pleased to be in the finals for the APEA ‘Milestone Award’.

We are also very happy to see one of our youngest team members nominated for the ‘Rising Star’ award. This is a great achievement for Contracts Manager Sam Fitzpatrick. We believe this category was one of the most nominated, so it gives us great pleasure to see his enthusiasm for the forecourt business recognised and to reach the finals.

Global-MSI has been recognised for the design and assistance given to MRH at their flagship Archimedes building at Barton Mills. MRH first approached Global-MSI in 2016 with a secret project for a flagship building named ‘Archimedes’. As the market leader in forecourt structures, they were requested to turn James Pyott’s concept design into a buildable solution.
Global-MSI worked hand in hand with MRH and their architects to turn the dream into a reality.
The resulting building has striking lines with a raking glass frontage and is clad with multi coloured rain screen panels. Having a large open area with plenty of natural light through the full glass frontage, it is a very pleasant atmosphere to shop and dine. This has now resulted in Global-MSI being nominated as finalists in the ‘Best new retail Forecourt’ award.

Global-MSI will be exhibiting at the Stadium MK during the day on stand B6 where you can discuss any forecourt structure supply, maintenance or repairs. Please drop by and say hello if you are attending the main UK event to meet forecourt suppliers and companies. We will also have colleagues from the group’s signware division Petrol Sign who can discuss any signware requirments you may have.
