Global-MSI recently completed the alteration of the forecourt canopy at Shell Rayleigh, Essex. The canopy was altered from a 3-column layout linked to the sales building, to a 2-column canopy with no link attachment. The purpose of the alteration was to provide space for additional electric vehicle charging points.
Access to the original construction drawings from 1990, contained in Global-MSI’s extensive & unique archive, proved invaluable during the design and construction phases of the project, minimising the need for disruptive surveys as well as providing cost and programme savings to the Client
