In August 2024, Global-MSI completed a high-profile site for Shell at J28 of the M25, near Brentwood in Essex. The work included the design, manufacture & installation of the non-standard, L-shaped sales building complete with steel frame, insulated roof & wall panels, shopfront system, external doors, and the front feature fascias & awning. Towards the rear of the site, Global-MSI installed the canopy above Shell’s EV chargers. The existing forecourt canopy was altered by removing the ‘link’ and strengthening the structure to accept the MVI pecten, as well as being fully refurbished with new guttering & sheeting. Once again, access to the original canopy drawings in Global-MSI’s substantial archive of forecourt structures, proved invaluable when assessing the proposed alterations, and during the site work.
